British in the Blue Ridge

Well a late report from your roving reporter here. The 20th British in the blueridge rally was a huge success with many entries. Some of the more unusual machines can be seen in the attached photos.   You will notice a OK Supreme ( left and right ), a Rudge, an Enfield Indian, a sweet Triumph Cub, a beautiful BSA Trails bike, and check out the low slung Triumph notice anything different? The James Bond BSA 650 from the thunderbolt movie was there complete with rocket launchers, way Cool!!!!!   The bikes entered into the show were only about 10% or less of the total British iron at the rally,most of which were ridden during the 3 days of Limey heaven, there were lots of things to see and talk about, a really nice outing for the entire family.Hope to see you there next year.   Of course the last weekend of Oct. is the infamous 50cc rally at Two Wheels Only in Suches Ga. brought to you by your gracious host GT and Britt. This one is for adults only bring your Elvis wig, Darth Vader costume or whatever a 50cc bike and some adult beverages for the campfire round table.(1st lair a`int got a chance).   Look for a report on this MEGA event in Oct. That list of 100 things to do before I die should include this race ooops Rally. Be there or be square (I just made that up).
